Barbecued Beef Sandwiches

3-4 c. sm. pieces, cooked beef
2 med. onions, chopped
1 med. green pepper, chopped
2-3 tbsp. cooking fat
1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce
2 tbsp. prepared mustard
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 tsp. salt
8-12 buns

Lightly brown beef, onion and green pepper in fat. Add tomato sauce, mustard, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce and salt to beef mixture. Bring to boil, stirring to combine. Reduce heat and cook slowly 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve on hamburger buns.
