Barbecued Hot Beef Sandwiches

2 Onions; chopped
2 tb Butter
2 Garlic cloves
1/2 c Chopped celery
1 1/2 c Water
1/2 ts Dry mustard
2 c Ketchup
3 tb Apple cider vinegar
3 tb Worcestershire sauce
4 tb Packed brown sugar
2 ds Paprika
1 ts Hot pepper sauce
1/2 ts Pepper
2 ts Salt
1 1/2 ts Chili powder
1 Roast beef; (3 pounds) cooked, cooled, shredded
1 Dozen hamburger buns

In skillet brown onions in butter until tender.

Combine onions with the rest of ingredients and beef in slow cooker or slow cooker. Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours.

Serve on hamburger buns. Makes 12 sandwiches.

Serves 10.
